Carbon monoxide and gas detector TYP: CTG⁠-⁠01

Carbon monoxide, is a highly poisonous, colorless and odorless gas that easily spreads through the air. It is produced as a result of incomplete combustion of fuels such as: wood, oil, gas, gasoline, kerosene, propane, coal, oil. Because this gas is colorless and odorless, it is so important to early detect the dangerous concentration of carbon monoxide in the rooms we stay in as it poses a serious threat to human health and life. Natural gas used, e.g. in gas stoves, is a colorless gas with little perceptibility. It is lighter than air, and therefore accumulates in the upper parts of the rooms. Combined with oxygen, it creates a highly explosive mixture. Propane-butane gas (LPG) is heavier than air, just like natural gas creates an explosive mixture with oxygen. The CTG-01 sensor is used for continuous monitoring of dangerous concentrations of both carbon monoxide and natural gas as well as propane butane in the air. When a dangerous concentration is detected, the device activates an audible and visual alarm and also displays the concentration level and the type of gas detected on the LCD. It is powered by mains (230 V AC) but also has an emergency battery supply so it will work even after a power outage in the installation. It is equipped with advanced semiconductor and electrochemical sensors as well as an auto-diagnostic system which signals sensor damage. Each carbon monoxide sensor manufactured by ZAMEL is tested in a specialized test chamber and receives a certificate of correct operation (detection of carbon monoxide concentration at 300ppm in less than 3 minutes).
